1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DreamKeg ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, with continued use constituting acceptance of changes.
2. Description of Service
DreamKeg is a dream journaling and social platform that allows users to record dreams, generate AI-powered tags and analysis, and optionally share dream content with other users. The Service includes web-based features, AI processing, email notifications, and social features.
3. Account Registration
- •You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- •You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- •You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- •One account per person. Duplicate or bot accounts may be terminated.
- •You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. User Content
- •Ownership: You retain ownership of all dream content you submit. By posting public dreams, you grant DreamKeg a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content to other users on the platform.
- •Private Dreams: Dreams marked as private are only visible to you. We do not share, sell, or display private dreams to anyone.
- •AI Processing: By submitting dream content, you consent to it being processed by AI for tag generation, analysis, and content moderation. This processing is solely to provide Service features.
- •Responsibility: You are responsible for the content you post and must ensure it complies with these terms.
5. Prohibited Content & Conduct
You may not use DreamKeg to:
- •Post spam, advertisements, or promotional content disguised as dreams
- •Post hate speech, threats of violence, or content that harasses or targets individuals or groups
- •Post content that is illegal or promotes illegal activities
- •Post sexually explicit content involving minors
- •Impersonate other users or create fake accounts
- •Attempt to access other users' private dreams or account data
- •Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service
- •Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its infrastructure
- •Circumvent content moderation, rate limits, or security measures
- •Use the Service for political campaigning, propaganda, or mass influence operations
Content that violates these rules may be removed without notice, and accounts may be suspended or terminated.
6. Content Moderation
We use AI-powered moderation to screen content before it is published. Content flagged as spam, hate speech, or non-dream material may be rejected. We reserve the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account at our discretion if it violates these terms.
7. Social Features & Invites
- •You may invite others to DreamKeg via email. You are responsible for only inviting people you know and who would welcome the invitation.
- •Invite emails are sent on your behalf and identify you as the sender.
- •Abuse of the invite system (mass unsolicited invites) may result in account suspension.
- •When you follow, like, or comment on other users' content, those interactions are visible to the content owner and may generate notifications.
8. Intellectual Property
The DreamKeg name, logo, design, and code are the property of DreamKeg. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without permission. User-generated content remains the property of the user, subject to the license granted in Section 4.
9. Service Availability
We strive to keep DreamKeg available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
10. Limitation of Liability
DreamKeg is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim (if any).
11. Account Termination
- •You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.
- •We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
- •Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- •Sections that by their nature should survive termination (liability, intellectual property) will continue to apply.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of San Diego County, California.
