Ring of Animals and Missed Connections

taking train home(more like subway) to Astoria or whenever I live now and there's a backup of sorts. We have our city speakeasy team call but I set it up where I'll talk to John limoncelli later because it doesn't work for him either. But I have to physically meet him at the station at 6:45pm, and it's like 6 now. So I'm walking home from station and at the entrance of the subway there is a ring of exotic dangerous animals, all staring back at each other in this circle. There are 2 lions, maybe 4 eagles, 6 cobras with their hoods up and standing up, bunch of rats in a pack, and other animals. But all seem very tame and content with just standing there and not killing each other. And now I'm in the middle for some reason, I guess I have to pass to get home. Then an owl lands on my head and stays there. His talons do not hurt and he's not trying to hurt me so I think it's okay.  I need to figure out how to get past the lions tho, who are guarding the subway exit. Not sure how but seems now that the owl is on my head I'm able to just walk by, so I try and it's fine, the animals just watch me and let me pass and continue their ring circle staring. I go up some stair to a platform and realize I don't have enough time to go home because I have to come back and meet John L here so I just wait since it's like 6:20 now. On the upper platform I watch the trains pass and then Jaclyn Pember gets off a train and I see a pair of my shoes outside the train doors that I left there a while ago from when I ran onto a train and left my shoes behind somehow. I grab them and explain this to her as she's getting off the train and we start walking and talking for a bit. Then she leaves and I wait for JL. He calls saying he's late making dinner or something so we decide to reschedule so I walk home in my newly re-found shoes. I make it home and my lil sister Jackie is there and we start talking about the ring of animals and I think the owl is still there, just not on my head. Then mom comes in and hands me the phone. It's a voice I recognize but not instantly and no one I'm close with. It's rosy O'Donnell and she's telling me about a book promo she's hosting at Lynn Phillips house on Saturday and it's going to be fun and that I should come over and talk about my company city speakeasy and make some dinner. The phone loses service and breaks up before I can answer or hear the rest of what she's saying. So I decide to go over to Lynn's and say hi and answer, which will be a yes even tho I have plans in the city that I would way rather do with the boys on Saturday. Just seems like too good of an opportunity for free advertising to pass up. Along the way I find a colored map that looks like a dota or moba map with lanes and towers and things. It's unmarked but color coded on the lanes and I make it out to be the same pattern as the animal circle I was a part of before. Each animal species owns or protects and certain line or lane on the map. I keep walking to Lynn's but get picked up by an unknown person/friend along the way and we end up doing donuts in Lynn's parking lot by her house while we try to look into the windows to see if rosy O'Donnell is still there or not. Wake up.
