Swimming Home to Prep Business Pitch

was in SD in the later afternoon on some shallow docks/marina. I had to swim across to get home to go finish dome work. I was finishing a deal with the owner of the Philadelphia flyers and had to finish prepping the pitch I had to deliver to him in person the next day. So some guy told me jumping in between these two docked boats was prob my best bet, so I did that and swam across a decently short ways to the dock on the other side. Walked home and I guess I shared my apartment with my mom for some reason and she was home and asked me to vacuum. So I was but then noticed some old trail mix or like  hard dog or cat food was on the carpet in the bedroom upstairs and had like a dozen crickets around the small pile, eating it I guess. So I told her and vacuumed most of them  and the pile up. Then sone other people came over with a new rug that I also had to vacuum and it was getting late and I still had a good few hours of work to do so had to wrap up cleaning and hanging with the visitors.
