Graduate School Orientation with Flying Mascots

I went back to college for graduate school at this small to medium-sized college. I'm not sure exactly where it was but it felt like an east coast or like North Carolina vibe. Tony Veach from DC was a new student there too so I was hanging out with him a little bit before orientation. The team's mascot was some sort of bird that was this gray-bellied bird with red crests and red above, kind of the size of a raven. I think it was a type of hawk and it had these massive almost googly eyes. We were on this orientation that was led by Mr. Chung(who was actor Ken Jeong from Community and Hangover) He was the event coordinator for this school and he was leading us in orientation. Orientation was on this big crane thing, this crane on wheels that had a big top flat platform for us to stand on, and just drove around this small campus and showed us some things. That is when we heard these awesome Falcon sounds and then above us were two of these school mascot birds that landed just kind of right above us on this tree. I got some really awesome pictures that I was pumped to send Ging and the Rood Boyz because they love birds. We went on and continued on the tour and the clouds got gray and started flash raining, pouring quick. Everyone was kind of frantic because we left most of our stuff back at the beginning of the orientation spot. The event coordinator, Mr. Chung, was also setting up a magic the gathering MTG tournament because it was very popular among the graduate students and a good way to welcome them into the school. Most people left their cards out at the beginning and were now getting rained on so we had to rush back. Mr. Chung gathered up everyone's cards, brought them inside, and he had a special way of drying them or something for the ones that got wet. We just had to kind of wait for those to dry and then there was going to be a magic tournament later that day or the next day or something. We all went on to two on-campus bars, both of them just like Irish pubs. I think one was called The Pub and the other one was called The Keg or something like that. Not half grimy for a college bar on campus and it was a good vibe, just kind of divey college Irish pub vibe, which was cool. There was some really obese teenager or young adult there with his dad or something, and apparently he was a big video game influencer and was taking pictures and stuff and seemed like a nice enough kid. I don't know how I kind of befriended him, got a picture with him or something, and ended up seeing him again later. We were kind of bouncing back and forth between this pub bar and this Keg bar. I hit the bathroom and peed in the long troth and was thinking about what a long pee it was. Then I went back into one of the bars and my mom was there with some other friend, and her friend who was the owner of the soccer team in Ted Lasso, whatever her name is. She was sitting there and apparently was really good friends with my mom and was good like family friends. They were talking about college stories of their kids, just being really obnoxiously drunk, and they had a good time. The owner of the soccer team had a good one of Julia, I guess, sleeping over her house one time, coming home from some college party really really drunk, and she just kept going “Ooo-Uh-OOoo-don’t cha!” Over and over. It was really funny, it was like her response to everything, and the woman said it was just so frustrating but you know, just funny drunk things. I was about to tell a story but I kind of didn't have time for it and then the fat kid was there still and I kind of gave him a pat on the back, like a hug. I don't think he was drinking; I think he wasn't old enough so he was just sitting there listening to these stories. Was about to tell a funny drunk college story but woke up.
