Was buddies with Matthew Schaefer and he picked me up from the airport when I flew back into NY and we were gonna go get some wings before dropping me off. It was a dark cold evening, so assumed his season was still on but he was home for a bit. Ended up meeting Farrell at some new townie bar and it was pretty packed. Bunch of people recognized Schaefer immediately but were mostly cool and didn’t bug us. He got a burger delivered quickly but it was pretty shit. My wings were overly crispy and just hard. Matt Jacobs and Ryan Beattie were there at the far end of the bar but didn’t see us yet, I’d go say hi in a bit. Had so many questions to ask him about his first season since I hadent seen him in a while. Was about to ask favorite game of season, which he said was first game in the car earlier, but woke up.
