Split House Alligator Escape Tragedy

was before I was dating Nikki I guess, but moved into this big split house with like 4 girls upstairs and 4 guys downstairs,
including Ezra, Erik's buddy from SF Bach party. The girls floor was
really clean but the guys floor was really dirty, so I started cleaning
it up. James ended up coming over and I think he lived down the block.
One of the girls came home with this new huge awesome fish tank(which
they put next to our 2 other fish tanks already there) but it had a HUGE
alligator in it. Like...there was NO way this thing would fit in this
tank. "I just adopted it from some old guy and he gave me \$100" she
said. It almost immediately got out and we lured it outside somehow. Now
it was walking in the street heading towards a big intersection. Me and
James ran after it to try and warn the cars but some big truck that
didn't see it turned into it and ran it over. We walked back sad but
thought maybe that was the best outcome.
