Nine Grams of Chicken After the Seattle Run

Seattle run with Carl Koopmans and others ended at this chicken spot. Ordered “9 grams of chicken” they wanted to microwave for me and a bunch of sides. Ate all the sides before the chicken even come out, and it was supposed to be microwaved and fast. Then we just sat around this dungy little restaurant/bodega and talked about our run and getting new shoes.

✧ AI Analysis: You finish a group run in Seattle and land at a grimy little spot that can't quite deliver — the chicken takes forever despite being microwaved, and you've already polished off all the sides before the main event arrives. The dream captures that familiar post-run glow where the food almost doesn't matter, because the real reward is sitting around with people, shoes off, replaying the miles and talking about the next pair. There's a gentle frustration underneath it all, but it dissolves quickly into the easy comfort of shared routine.
