Dad's Giddy Fishing Surprise at Montauk Lake

I was with my dad and he had some surprise for me that he was really like giddy about and I really wasn't sure what it was. The fact that he was so giddy made me a little suspicious about what it was but he finally drove us to this spot where the surprise was going to be. It was out east on Long Island, almost to the end, to the spot Montauk Lake. That was a body of water between the two forks at the end of Long Island on the east coast. We were going to go fishing there and there was already a ton of people fishing in little boats and things. The surprise was just to go fishing in this lake that was either just discovered or just made or something. We were about to go fishing; we were rigging up our fishing poles and I think we are going to just fish from the shore or maybe get a little dinghy boat to go in.
