Harbor Town T-Rex and Sushi Shop Romance

lived in a harbor town, like Northport but a little bigger with more of a city feel. The dream seemed to span a few days and nights. One day I met this pretty brown haired girl Diane and took her to my fave sushi spot in town, where there just so happens to be a Trex living there as well. He didn't live in a cage, per se, but lived in a series of normal rooms, almost like a college dorm. Well we went to go see him and he got out. He left the store and scared everyone cause apparently not many people knew he lived there. He didn't attack anyone, just ran straight for the water and dove in. Dream seemed to fast forward a few days where no one knew where he went and many thought he may have drowned. Well on this day I, and everyone else, saw him swimming back to the shore. I also saw Diane at the same time and asked her to help, since the trex seemed to like her. She said yes and we started clearing people away and telling them to get away from the sushi place. The trex landed, shook off like a dog would, then slowly went towards the sushi place. We opened the door for him and he looked at us, which was pretty scary cause there was nothing between us stopping him from biting us in half, but then he lumbered inside. We followed him and the little Asian woman who owned the shop and him and was pretty much his mom directed him to his room. We followed and got him in his "cage" but felt we should talk to him and make him feel comfortable and loved so he didn't want to break out again and then turned out we could talk to him and he spoke sort of like an very mildly autistic kid, I assumed because of being locked up mostly alone for most of his life, but he was very nice and I asked him if he had fun and where he went and he said yes lot of fun and across the water to Connecticut(weren't in northport but another Long Island town I guess) we finally got the door closed to his rooms without injury and then me and Diane left. She had something to do so couldn't hang tonight but soon. So I found this outdoor(even though it was at night) thrift store and started looking for clothes for her that I thought she would like as a way of saying thanks for helping with the trex. No easy feat. Found her a nice pair of pants but had no idea of her size so asked Jackie and got "an 8"(?) and a cool shirt to go with it. Woke up while I heard one old black female worker cracking jokes to the old black male worker about him spending too much time "racking brown pants in the men's section".
