Sword Wrapping, Warehouses, and the Last Night

was prepping for our upcoming japan trip with Nikki and we we’re taking a sword-hilt making class. We got to pick the hilt rope color so went with a dark blue and black braided cord that we then had to wrap very tightly around a metal bar that would be the handle and grip for the sword. It was kinda like taping a hockey stick but with rope cord instead of tape. We couldn’t get it ultra tight like we wanted so it was a little loose, but then saw they had a tool that once you’re mostly done, you stick it in this tool and it compresses and tightens the cord up together. Finished and happy with it, I said goodbye to Nikki and went to meet up with the rood boyz who were in town for a quick trip we had planned. I got to them and it kinda fast forwarded past the actual trip and was now at the end of the trip where we made it back to the Airbnb and had to open this big garage door that a boat could fit in that was our front door. We did and there was our Airbnb - this warehouse/hangar type room with some beds and loft area. Nothing special but nice enough. Our neighbors had this big farm they were cleaning up a weekend wedding from, when I checked it out. Somehow we checked the clock and it was almost 8am and light out and we hadn’t slept yet and it was a question of sleep now for a couple of hours or just go to the airport now and sleep there, which we said was the safer move. Kane was there too now, and we me and him were sitting at this picnic table out front while the other guys packed. I guess I was local and wasn’t flying home so easy for me. We played some card game on the table then woke up.
