Orcas Glide Through the Hidden Cove

I was on a trip with my mom, maybe to Mexico or somewhere in Southeast Asia or something, and we were doing a diving class, maybe just snorkeling, maybe full diving. We dove into this cove area off the ocean that turned into this almost 75% enclosed above alcove-like a cave with a hole in the top that was shining light through. Under the water was all this deep rock and kelp, and we're swimming around there and it was very cool. It's awesome to be in the water with my mom. As we were swimming around, we turned around and saw, slowly and 40+ feet away, this orca swim by, just gliding by, just curious that we were there but not interested in attacking or anything. We turned around and there were another eight of them, all just swimming by. Maybe they lived in here, maybe they were just checking the cove out like us and seeing what we were up to, but it was very cool, very surprising to see them. It's a little bit scary but seeing their calmness, that they were not in attack mode, made us calm, being in the water with them, so we weren't really in a rush to get out. We eventually did get out and climb up this pretty tough sheer rock face to get to kind of the top of this thing where you could look down through the hole into this amazing pool in this cove off the ocean and could see the orcas in the water swimming around and then eventually going back out to sea. It was very cool.
