Vegas to Space: Racing Through Time

Leaving from Vegas to go to outer space. We're in this high tech minivan/juicy van sorta thing but much bigger. It's me Blaise Farrell Sean O'brien dave Ugelow his exgf Mel Ryan McNamee and maybe Steve Goodman. We're still on earth and I look up and we're SUPER close to this orbiting satellite that I think may be the ISS but is too small so maybe just a huge satellite. I tell everyone to look up and as we're watching it, incredibly fast, gets sucked away back to this other huge satellite/space station much further away. As we're going I see more and more orbiting things and Sean O'brien is driving and our captain I guess with Blaise as the #2 riding shotgun. They say we're entering the jump off spot or whatever(they called it a different term but it's where we leave for space) and we need to travel really quickly around this very small manmade planet, essentially, with its own gravitational pull and orbit built into it so as we go we rotate faster and faster and it will eventually slingshot us into space. The other things orbiting around with us are other small satellites and a couple huge LEGO sculptures. Like the Empire State Building LEGO structure, bunch of Pokémon ones like Lapras, seaking and a few others and smaller satellites. They start orbiting very close to us and are going faster so they can definitely hit us. On the next rotation around us, the seaking must've hit something else and was a million exploded LEGO pieces that hit us like shrapnel but dealt no damage to our tanklike van. We eventually get slingshotted to the next space station, although I don't remember anything about the physical travel there, and we're able to get out and walk around and I guess this is ran by the brits because all the security guards are white brits in British uniforms. We drive around this place for a while and start drinking in the back and Mel gets mad at dave for something but Dave does an incredible way of maneuvering out of the sticky situation. I want to applaud him for this but think it's in bad taste and probably a bad idea so I don't. I'm now drinking some weird four loko thing with Farrell talking about our future travel plans and how I've never been to Thailand. But now we're in space. We all get out to walk around and explore this place a bit but don't go far cause our official launch time is in like 20min. I find a sharpie and wanna write down something Farrell said but instead write "BOOK IDEA: dude that grows up has a simple boring safe life and then leaves to go on space vacation with his friends and he gets lost in some big space city(or he writes this down on a napkin..and they leave him) and he has to spend the rest of his life in space and the book tells his tale" and then realize I'm living that life right now and my friends all went back to the van. I sprint to the van and they're still there and we have like 4 min till launch and all is good but then I realize I left my book and napkin on the table and need it and it's only 2 min away so I sprint back without saying a thing and grab it and sprint back and have to dive thru these little holes and things to get back and right before I get back to see if they're still there or not I wake up
