Hockey Team's Tragic Turtle Encounter

the team was packing up for a long weekend hockey tourney. Had a lot to pack over at the rink with the coaches. Finally got it all in our vans and was getting ready to go. Saw demarco pull up in this huge army grade farmers truck and we made plans to hang out in 2 weekends. Pet some cute dog Milo in this little farm corral area. Went back to the team and it was getting dark and we were almost ready to go. People were throwing footballs while the coaches finalized the last of it. Picked up a ball and threw it to one of my teammates who tried to go sideline with it but along this pond of water and I threw a little too far and it went into the water. We saw it sink and that was A bummer. But then we saw it go into this little turtle's sack that I guess was used for eggs. Then she came on shore so we could get it and the teammate cut her sack to get the ball out which was now super small, but it started inflating again as soon as out of the sack which was really cool. But then we looked at the turtle mama and her 3 premature babies in the sack and they were all dying and then died. Was really sad actually. Just for the football. We justified it with the fact that when she came out of the water into the sun the ball would inflate again and pop her sack..and we wouldn't have the ball then..so this way was a little better. Still sad. Packed up the last of the oranges and got in the van to go. Woke up
