Back at PIMCO, Spiral Stairs to Joan's Loft

was back working at PIMCO again, or at least another full corporate job, but the only people still working there that I knew were Joan and Trushar. I was in this 3 person pod, in the middle, between 2 girls, one of whoโ€™s birthday was today so she had a bunch of birthday cards and small plants and birthday presents on her desk. I was called up to Joanโ€™s which was up this spiral staircase to this loft area, giving real startup vibes, and had to help her with some data thing. I had to go back down and get my laptop to plug in up there to an extra monitor setup she had next to her desk and worked form up there most of the day. Then went back down to sign happy birthday.

โœง AI Analysis: You find yourself pulled back into a former corporate world โ€” PIMCO โ€” but with only a couple of familiar faces remaining, which hints at feelings of displacement and the strangeness of returning to something that has moved on without you. The physical layout of the dream is telling: you're sandwiched between two unfamiliar coworkers in a pod, then summoned upward via a spiral staircase to a loft with startup energy, suggesting a tension between old institutional identity and something newer, more dynamic. The closing act of going back down just to sign a birthday card grounds the dream in a subtle theme of social duty and belonging โ€” participating in rituals to maintain connection even when you're not sure you fully fit anymore.
