St. Patrick's Day Dolphin-Worm Beach Encounter

was in San Diego for st pattys day with my family and kyles family. I was going to a party over at Seth\'s in OB and Kyle was going into the city but we were gonna meet up after. It was before the parties started tho, so both families were hanging at our little bungalow spot we rented on the outskirts of OB. But still by the beach. I showered and put this crazy green shaving cream-like gel in my hair for st pattys. Then went back to our little spot. Talked with James and the fam and played some games, threw football outside for a bit but then all hair dye dripped out of hair and covered head. So I went to go shower again and was walking with Kyle and we were along this bay thing and at first we saw what looked like a dolphin come out of the water for a second, then it continued to come out and we\'re like holy shit, look at the size of that Dolphin! Then it sorta kept coming and we realized it was some sort of long wurm dolphin. It looked like a worm and a dolphin mixed, with the little sections that real worms have too. Then it came out of the water and on to the land barrier that was between the bay and the ocean and crossed to the other side into the ocean. It was HUGE. Incredibly long but at its thickest, must\'ve been 4feet around. Then it was gone. We go holy shit, that had to be a once in a life time opp and the woman behind us, a native of the area, with two little girls goes \"hmm yea probably\" and we talked to her a bit about it. She said a it\'s actually considered a dolphin but it\'s really not. And it\'s been known to \"eat teens, so I\'ll be keeping these guys out of the water for a while\" as she nudged down to her two girls. We were amazed. Then I went to go shower and Kyle went another way. I opened the door to the public showers/bathroom and my northport neighbor, Julie, and her dad were in there just reading and chatting. I asked if it was okay if I hopped in the shower on the other side of the room and they said sure. But first her dad struck up a conversation and I wanted to listen. We talked a bit about the Korean War which he said he was in and said, \"give me that empty Gatorade bottle over there, son\" so I did and then he peeled off his left eyebrow to show this big scar he got in the war. Julie was saying aww gross and how I didn\'t want to see that but I assured him and her it was alright and then we got into a good conversation about war and how lucky I am to not have been in war, let alone lived thru one on home soil. Then hopped in shower cause already late for party and woke up
