Floating Pump House Ocean Adventure

just finished a yoga class with Nikki on like a Sunday and it was still early and we had a free day so were gonna go over to the water and check the waves and maybe go surfing finally. When we got to the water the water level was SO high. It was literally a few inches above the pump house roof, almost all the way up the cliff. The waves were huge far out but not really crashing into the cliff wall too bad, but certainly not surfable. Some kid came over with a fishing pole by us and was about to cast right next to us, like too close. I turned around and he had already given Nikki another really nice fishing pole and she's like "I dunno, he just handed me a hundred dollar fishing pole so I took it". Both their lines were immediately tangled and I was the one untangling them. I looked at the kid, clearly hitting on my gf, and was like "you don't even have hooks on these lines..what're you doing" he goes "just casting practice". Anyway, Nikki kinda got bored quickly and was gonna go home and hang with Bella. Right about that time Seth came and wanted to go fishing. he brought his own rod and we said hey, we can actually walk out onto the pump house roof now and get further into the water and cast from there. So we did. The water was super clear so you could see all the way to the bottom from the edge of the pump house, it was super cool. After a few casts we heard a crack and the ground moved a bit. The pump house then just separated from the mainland cliff and started floating out into the ocean. There were like 3 other Mexican guys on the roof, now turned raft, with us. It was slow moving and we didn't really know what to do so we just stayed on. It started floating north around the PB point and as soon as we turned the corner we saw all this aquatic traffic coming at us. Small boats, people in kayaks, swimming, etc. we had zero control of this thing and it was still
