Amsterdam Hostel and Awkward Welcome Home

was in Amsterdam staying one at at some gym hostel where people were doing Pilates and light workouts but others were on their laptops on the couch. There was some light cool warehouse indie music playing and I was trying to find a spot to lay down a yoga mat in a semi-private spot to make my "room". Then DJ Saib walked in and went over to his dj set and started mixing up some light beats. Apparently he was the resident dj here and owner. I went over and talked to him after I put my big backpack bag down and said I was a big fan and was cool what he had going on here. he was super chill and was cool talk. Then left to go meet up with Nikki and a few friends at this outdoor market in town. We browsed the vintage clothes and weed and shrooms in jars and I was tempted to buy some shrooms but I think we had a wedding the next day or soemthing so didn't have time to do them. Nikki found a very cool heavy brown leather jacket she was considering buying and I told her she should, it was super cool and looked great. After paying, we went back up to what was supposed to be my old apartment with Graham but it was in a building like 3 stories up and different. Rachel texted me and Graham in a group chat saying she was going up for dinner and in the stairwell up we saw Todd from run club. When we got inside there were a bunch of friends, even some just kind like Ryan McNamee and Lauren and bill and Melinda gates were there for some reason and justin and Pat and Addie and a bunch others and Graham had on a funny dark green blazer and everyone was dressed fairly nicely but what what was odd was no one was really excited to see me, even tho this was pretty much my welcome back. So I gave big hugs and tried to make it awkward for people to not really be excited to see me. Then Maui and Mila came out and they were SO excited to see me so I got on the floor with them and got a ton of doggo kisses. I just assumed this was a surprise party for me or something and not everyone was there or everything was ready so no one was allowed to be excited yet. But I woke up so I'm not sure if it was that or they really didn't want me there anymore ha.
