I was living back in New York City. I was back in college, going back to classes, but I guess I haven't really been going to classes for a while and missed a few. I was quite behind in a few of them and definitely in danger of failing the class if I didn't do well here on out.
I had English class later that day and I didn't even have the book so I had to go to the local bookstore. I was asking one of the girls who worked there if she could help me find this Steinbeck book that we needed to read, and she happened to be in my class. When I asked her how the book was so far, she said โslow,โ which didn't really help my case since I was behind. I got the book and realized that I had a long road ahead to catch up in this class so I left. I was walking down the New York City streets to the subway to get to my class.

โง AI Analysis: This dream taps into a classic anxiety archetype โ finding yourself back in school, dangerously behind, and scrambling to catch up before it's too late. The detail of not even having the required book signals a deep feeling of unpreparedness, as though life has been moving forward while something important has been neglected. The long road ahead you feel in the dream may reflect real-world pressure around keeping pace with responsibilities or goals that feel like they're slipping.
