Sailing to Hippie Island Festival Adventure

I was with Seth, Nick Parker, Johnathan Gunther, Stephen Gunther and their old roommate Casey and we were going to some hippie fest on some island off the coast of California. so Nick flew into town and we were on line at this beach to get on a sailboat to sail to this island. There was a ton of people on line, bunch of hippies. Everyone had camping gear and cooking gear and other things to camp on the island, and Nick was DJing the next morning at 7 AM, because that’s when he picked for his DJ set, and so he had a bunch of big speakers and things that we were carrying down this slowly moving long line. We finally made it to the end and got this sailboat and it was pretty small and there was maybe six of us on it and Seth actually set up the sail for it and it looked like he did it wrong because it was like cut in half but it was just a weird sail and he did it right. it was this dark green bottom half only sail. We got on and some of us were paddling and some of us were steering the sail itself, which was me and Nick, and Stephen and Johnathan were paddling to help course correct as well and we actually went pretty quick and Stephen did a good job of dodging some little rocks chatting out from the ocean but we finally made it to this island that was like a craggy exterior with one like landing spot on the sand so we landed there and unloaded and brought all of our stuff into this cabin type AIRBNB we were renting. I got in and opened the fireplace that had a lot of soot in it and started cleaning that a little bit. Steven got a mop and was mopping the walls off from old beer suds that were on it and then I took over while he was gonna cook something and we were just getting set up for the weekend-long festival here.
