War, Fire, and a Child's Survival

last day of teeth whitening mouthwash - \"beneath a starry sky\" - was in some sort of war with North Korea or some Asian country. I was in the army or something along with a few other people I knew, mostly a faction of the Japanese people I met. Sam Scott was a close companion. We got there and were supposed to first corral everyone. The \"enemy\" was unarmed. Some fought it, others accepted it. Moved them all onto the big hill. I guess we got an order to then move them down the hill and then something happened where we were ordered to burn them all with a flame thrower as they reached the bottom. Sam was the lead fireman. Somehow I was caught in with all of them now and everyone was so scared and didn\'t know what to do but were unable to do anything except slowly walk down the hill towards the fire. Some small boy, \"wiseman\", was very concerned and scared and tried to hide by me but I told him no and pushed him on forward. Once at the bottom we were stuck in this sort of warehouse funnel as the fire consumed us. I was in the back upper corner so had the best chance of not being burned. Fire and ash were falling around me and I needed a new escape plan. Right then the fire stopped. The war was seemingly over. And maybe 1/10 of the people had lived thru this. The boy, wiseman, was sitting on a table in the front and by some miracle was still alive. He was crying and confused. I went over to him and told him he\'s a lucky man and embraced him slightly. He let me, even tho he probably should have killed me for pushing him on. End. \*\*note: I\'m not happy with myself about this dream. Id like to think I\'d act more heroically in a situation like this, not like a coward pushing a kid to go die before me, but that\'s how it happened in the dream..
