Catching Up with Ramzi & Erika Upstate

Caught up with Ramzi when was in upstate NY for a work thing I think. We went out to local pub and was good catchup. He invited me back, knowing my ex, his wife, lived there with their 4-5 kids now and I thought that was mature and cool, so I accepted. We got back around 9-10 at night and started making some food. Erika was there in the living room and she came in to say hi and was quite nice. Ramzi went to the bathroom and I took the eggs and toast we just cooked to the kitchen table, which was next to the living room couch Erika was sitting on. We started chatting and she was telling me about her nursing or doctor job, and how it was a lot but she liked it. One of their little girls woke up and came out of her room crying from a nightmare. Erika told her it was fine and asked me if it was fine too, I said yea, it's gonna be fine. The little girl said her throat hurt a little so Erika made her stick her tongue out and say "ahhh" to check, looked fine. Then she came up to me and made me check, which I did, and looked fine. She was a cute little girl that was very bubbly and friendly. Erika sent her back to bed with a hug and Ramzi came back out and we ate our eggs. Was nice time.
