just finished a roller hockey game and didn’t play very well, wasn’t skating great, and our next game in this back to back was an ice hockey game, which I was worried I was gonna be even worse at since I’m a better roller blader and Nikki was coming to watch my second game and I wanted to impress her. Then it was just the boys in the locker room changing from roller gear to ice gear. Got a good pep talk from the coach and was feeling good now and ready to get out there. Woke up

✧ AI Analysis: You're carrying real pressure into a high-stakes moment — switching from a game you feel capable in to one that exposes your insecurity, with Nikki watching. The locker room shift from roller to ice gear mirrors an internal transition: you're not just changing equipment, you're trying to change your mindset and shake off a poor performance. The coach's pep talk works as a turning point, suggesting you respond well to encouragement and external validation when your own confidence wavers.
