Rescued Kittens and Mushroom Coffee Discovery

Was walking down cass st with some mail on a Sunday evening around the winter holidays time and going to drop it off in a bin and go to the gym. There was a public blue mailbox door open on cass and garnet and a box inside with the mail and a little kitten in it. Someone came and dropped another little kitten in it and ran as I came over. I looked in at them and they looked so cute and scared and hungry. I they were orange and a yellow orange. I said I was gonna get them some food on my way back to myself. Walked to gym, it was closed cause Sunday evening. Went to this pet store next door and it was almost closing too so I was going to see if I could take a few of the food samples that were open and give to these cats. A woman came over and said she would donate on behalf of the students for 60,000 and asked if I was a coffee drinker and wanted me to try some of this new Turkish drip coffee. She brought me over and showed me that they were brewing it in this big bowl of different mushrooms for medicinal purposes. I tried it and was fantastic. Then she said you can eat the mushrooms and I tried one, it tasted like an incredible skirt steak. She said the big bag was only \$4. I told her I'd be back tomorrow and took the food to the mailbox. It was stil open and now there was only one cat. I gave it the big leftover soup over rice meal I got from the store. It ate it up. Somehow the next thing was this kitten and a little girl on a lawn talking to me and me actually debating, in my current life situation, if I was going to adopt this little girl and kitten or not and was really close to yes.
