was with joe szalay, Andrew, John, Ging and some of their kids hanging out at some hall on a weekend. Don’t know exactly what the event was for but was good to see them and catch up. Andrew mentioned joe just got a big raise and I was like how big? Joe was like, semi-nonchalantly, 30 mill. I was like RAISE that high? How tf much you making base? Then thought of how it’s funny to think about people working in money making money. Full industry on just “money”. Which I guess is what a “job”s job is at its core. We debated the philosophy of that for a bit then moved on to playing with everyone’s kiddos when they came running back over.
