was at a music festival at night with Jon Coccaro and Chase Casillo. It was classic outdoor festival, big dirt outdoor fairgrounds, with a couple different stages and music playing in the distance from any of them at any time. Sun was almost fully set for the night. Jon ran into the band Underoath at some point and started talking about their sound system setup. They said they couldn’t find their bassist and asked if ALL 3 OF US could play bass for them. We HAD to agree, couldn’t pass this opp up, despite me not knowing how to play bass at all. But Jon and Chase could, so my plan was to just unplug mine and let them lead the way. We went back stage with the band and were trying out some of the many bass guitars they had available back there. We were getting ready to go on stage but woke up.
