Airport Engine Explosions and Near-Death Acceptance

was in an airport terminal at night right after getting off my plane and was held up in this area for some reason. Just
couldn't go anywhere, a hold up of sorts. In the distance out the
windows on the tarmac an American Airlines plane just landed and was
taxing back into its gate. As it was pulling in its huge left engine
fell off the wing and it EXPLODED! A huge sonic boom and damage dealt.
Luckily it was far enough where it barely damaged me but I still felt
it. Moments later another plane, this time a few gates closer, started
rolling in. It looked as if I could see gasoline or something drilling
from its engine..then the engine fell off and BOOM! The ground shook,
glass broke, shrapnel and other things were tossed around and into this
room, including an airplane door which landed about 10ft from me. I was
knocked back but was okay I thought. Bad news comes in 3s, as they say,
so sure enough another AA plane was taxing in and this time it was
really close, only 1 or 2 gates over. It's big left engine was burning
hot and glowing red. Looking for an escape or which way to run..I found
none. The only way to go was towards it..it was too late. In vain, I
grabbed the airplane door and covered myself with it and just..thanked
god for such an awesome and great life I was luckily enough to live. I
actually wasn't too scared, felt bad for the people who would feel the
repercussions of me gone, but felt pretty much fulfilled and happy with
my life and how I spent my time and no real regrets or more things I
wish I had done. That said, I would have love to live more, but if this
was it, I was happy with how it went - some people don't even get till
35. I looked up, expecting the blow to have happened already...staring
down the red hot engine waiting for it to fall..and it never did! I
could see sirens of all sorts and vehicles under it scrambling to setup
a net or some way to catch it if it fell and then they got it in place
and I felt safe and free. Wow. Woke up
