Hockey Stars at Winter Festival

Went to visit Julia with Jackie and we had some fun walking around dc then we were gonna hop into her new school office to say hi and she was gonna show us around. We walked around her school and it was a pretty normal hs but then we went into the teach facility in the back that had a bunch of open offices and a lot of people working back there. It was like a tech company school startup she worked for so it was a really cool feel. I spotted Jeff Mehi and went over and said hi! He worked there now and loved it. Small world. Kept going and slowly it turned into Pimco and there were a ton of old Pimco people and i saw Trushar and Vik and went over and said hi. Had a nice chat and then ging came back to his seat and Joan was there and we were all talking. Now I figured I would just hang out till after work and go out with ging cause we had plans to go to Connecticut with Joe-Joe from japan(apparently originally from CT not Australia). So I'm chatting with ging and Trushar tells me about this new game they play "during commercials" which essentially is a 2 min break they get every 20 min or so. Joan comes back from a meeting or something and we hug and she shows me this game. It's this projector on the wall that shoots a digital ball out and everyone lines up and has to hit it up as many times as can. So we all get ready and apparently John c Riley has been working there next to ging the whole time and gets up to play too and apparently he's the funny guy in the office. He's dressed work casual but well dressed with funny wire framed nerd glasses on.  So we play and he's saying "BOP!" With every hit and we're all hitting it up and it's fun. 2 min are up and the game ends and for some reason everyone falls down. John c is a funny guy and like pretends to walk on me as he goes back to his desk cause I'm still laying down for some reason and then this starts it where everyone walks on me(with socks not shoes) on the way back to their desk and it's pretty funny for some reason. Half the people are girls so it's fine and funny. (Seems weird now but wasn't at the time). We all laugh and gong finishes up work and we leave to go meet joe-joe. We get in his car and drive up to CT. He's telling us about the time him and john Matthews were driving thru a crazy snowstorm but noticed a tractor on the side of the road and recognized it as his families and somehow saved Christmas by bringing it back to them, despite it being like -15deg out. Coldest he's ever been he says. Then he saw this big cat charge at him but it was only his cat that came out to say hi. So we get to his house/wherever we were going and apparently he was housing a bunch of hockey players in the neighborhood because they had the outdoor NHL games coming up this weekend in his town. Blackhawks must've been playing because Patrick Kane and John towes were there. It was now morning and the sun was up but it was still soooo cold, yet we still all hung out outside. I was laying down blowing smoke rings out of my mouth just from the frost breath I had. Patty k comes over and starts poking thru my breath smoke holes and he's in like long johns and has his cool hockey hair mullet going on. Towes is right by us and he's lacing up his skates for maybe a morning skate, cause he's still in his long johns too. It's not too cold anymore and that's all you need outside now. So ging comes over, bro hi5s pat Kane and then the 3 of us go walk around this little festival thing the town setup for the winter outdoor games they're hosting. Immediately every girl notices pat Kane but they try to play it cool and not mob him but try to get in his way so he has to walk by them. He's got his chest up like he's the man and he's saying hi girls and winking and stuff, really enjoying himself and me and ging look at each other like damn..he must get this shit all day every day. "Hi pat" "hey patty" smile smile from every girl. The three of us are talking and he's asking if we're going to the game tonight and for some reason we weren't but he gave us tickets he pulled out of his thermals and I guess that prompted us to pick him up and carry him like a king in our arms for a bit. We were all joking and having a great time. He was maybe a few inches taller than me and I was joking if I was an inch or two taller I'd be a hockey god too. He said nah no way and that he was way taller than that. We all got along very well and it was super fun. He picked out some little trinket at one of the festival tents and ging got something and paid for both. Patty said thanks. (He acted a lot like Will Masterson IRL). Solid following of girls behind us at all times, we headed back to camp to eat and start getting ready for the game. Woke up. 5:14am now
