I just got to Madison, Wisconsin, where I was meeting up with Erik Soderholm and Duncan. It was the middle of the summer but there was still snow on the ground, which I was laughing to Duncan about, saying, "How is there still snow here, itโs August!?"
We went to someone's house they knew and we were going to make some brunch. It was early afternoon, late morning. I accidentally knocked some glassware over and it shattered on the floor. I had to pick it up and was very embarrassed about that but it was all good.
I guess it was one of their grandma's house we were at. She asked if I could help her make โtray baconโ, which I said I could probably do, but wasnโt totally sure what it was. But then she ended up just taking it over and showing me how: putting bacon on a tray and putting it in the oven. Then We made these little egg ball things in a muffin tin.
