Western Caravan to Japanese University Journey

was on this old western caravan with a bunch of horse and cattle drawn covered wagons. Was awesome, somewhere thru Arizona or more north. The ground was a perfect yellow brown sand color, there were huge cactuses scattered about and the horizon was this beautiful purple from the cactus flowers in the distance. The caravan had maybe 8 wagons and it was slow but steady and peaceful going. I wrote all this down in my phone notes in the dream, same as I'm doing now. I guess it was modern day because I had my  phone but nothing else resembled that. We ended up getting to this old school train station and a few of us got on board. I was with some kid a little younger than me who was excited to see the world. When we got off at the next station everything had changed. We were dropped into some modern day university stop in Japan. This was all so new to the kid that it scared him enough to get on the next train back from where we came, which I helped him do. But for me, it was new and cool, yet slightly familiar enough to be comfortable so I walked around and embraced it. It was a beautiful and peaceful outdoor campus, with Japanese signs and characters posted about. I thought it was amazing to be transported to two completely different epochs by a silly little train.
