Giant Wave Destroys Coastal Amusement Park

jersey- was in a bus being driven along the coast of maybe LI or Cali  and looking out to the water. It was sunset and there was an amusement park right next to the water. We were up on a cliff that was probably 20-30 ft high. The waves are choppy and pretty big. I keep looking and then there is a HUGE wave. 4 times the size of the rest. And it\'s rolling in. I point and go holy shit look at that wave! Some chatter starts up about the wave and how it\'s going to to hit the amusement park, but not too worried about it hitting us cause we\'re up the cliff. As it gets closer we see it may actually be the same size as the cliff or maybe bigger. We watch as its about to hit the amusement park. It looks something like Coney Island but actually on the sand, not really raised at all. It has a Ferris wheel and a bunch of water slides. And people are on these things. The wave finally hits and it\'s just as high as the Ferris wheel. The Ferris wheel gets taken down by the wave and parts of water slides are tumbling around in the ocean. The wave is still coming and now I\'m sure it\'s going to make it up the cliff.  The bus stops and we get out and run the away from the wave. I jump onto this chain link fence towards the top and hang on. Bracing for the wave. It does make it over the cliff and is about half way up the bus. The bus moves a bit but doesn\'t tumble. By the time the wave hits us it is only the size of a normal chain link fence and I brace and hold my breath as it rushes past the fence and I. It passes soon and I\'m okay, just wet. I look around and most people are okay, have braced on to something the could hold onto. A few couldn\'t hold or find anything and are rolling around the ground a little, but don\'t seem seriously injured.
