was on an old battleship and in the navy I guess. We were going to war and had to conduct like 3 attacks. The ship was pretty old and a lot of it was wood, which seemed dangerous. Our captain was some pissed off old guy and the sentiment around the deck was that we were all going to die. Could maybe survive one strike, but 3 seemed almost impossible. I was in charge of organizing the strikes and the weaponry and rations needed for each, so mostly had to divide our supplies up into thirds. We just restocked at this harbor and were setting out to the sea again. No idea where in the world we were or who we were attacking, but I felt like it was Germany. The sky was overcast with some heavy gray clouds and it seemed like a winter sky but it wasn’t really cold. Maybe the start of fall or something. We set off with low morale for making it back alive.
