Camper Van Strategy Game Adventure

woke up in a big camper van to Nikki driving thru the early morning, was dark outside still, from her phone in the back of the van.
She also had her laptop out and had to start work so I offered to take
over which she rapidly accepted. We were driving down a windy highway
alongside a big canyon cliff. It's was beautiful and dangerous. I took
over and sat at her computer and she told me what to do for work, it was
a big grid like chessboard lit up but they were different sectors her
and her team had to strategically take over and turn their colors. I
immediately liked this. I zoomed in on one quadrant we were working on
and had to deploy troops like final fantasy tactics. I had 3 units and a
Marlboro and gafgarion joined the party as a guest, or controlled by one
of her co workers. I had one unite who could make vines in the ground
like the bramble from that iPhone game I used to play. It was fun and we
won pretty easily. Woke up before what's next
