Mini Golf Tears and Sheryl Crow
was playing mini golf with Nikki and Justine and a few others. We were in some public park and one of Justin's friends recently
went to this 80s themed bar where you could bring your own cassettes and
they'd play them. So She had an old tin lunch box of cassettes, mostly
Disney songs. Then somehow this Sheryl crow song came on and me and
Nikki were listening to it and reading the lyrics. It was about time
passing and her kids growing up and "saying goodbye", as they go off to
college and how that happens in a blink of an eye. For some reason it
hit me hard and I started to cry. Nikki held me in her arms and let me
get it out. It felt good. \*then I woke up, assuming from the crying but
don't know if was actually crying in real life or not and it shook me
awake? Not sure.
